Meet Jack Reynolds, he’s 104 years old and the most elderly person to ever be tattooed.
Jack Reynolds is a 104 year old man from Chesterfield who already holds multiple world records. Just last year he became the oldest man to take the “ice bucket challenge”.
But yesterday, on his birthday, he became the oldest person to ever get a tattoo beating the previous world record holder by 10 years.
“I’m honoured that he has asked me to do it. I just hope I can do him proud and it’s all for a good cause. It’s brilliant.”
– Pete Who, Tattoo Artist
The new tattoo is an inscription that reads ‘Jacko’ with his birthdate in his own handwriting. Interestingly, the oldest man in the world to be tattooed didn’t do it just for the fun – the initiative was undertaken to raise money for the Ashgate Hospice – it turns out that tattooing in a controversial manner was the best way to get the word out.
Jack, you rock. And we’re sure you’ve got a few more records up your sleeve. (at 104, nearly everything you do is a record)
Earlier today we stopped into the Royal Ontario Museum for a quick media-only look into the brand new #ROMink exhibit. To say that we were impressed, would be a drastic understatement.
#ROMink is a showcasing of the deep history of tattooing that features works from some of the world’s most renowned tattooists including Horiyoshi III, Xed Lehead, Ed Hardy, Paul Booth, Yann Black, and more. It examines the intertwined connection behind tattoo cultures, their connections with humanity, and spiritual meanings & obsessions over the 5,000 year history of the practice.
The morning started with a meet & greet and overview of the exhibit from the museum’s CEO, head executives, and the exhibits curators. We were delightfully surprised to hear that after only 2 days of holding his position, Josh Basseches (CEO), is looking forward to a future of new and experimental exhibits at the museum, the first of which is Tattoos. Ritual. Identity. Obsession.
The exhibit was originally held at the Musée du quai Branly by Stephane Martin and drew over 12 million visitors in it’s duration. It will be launched in Toronto on April 2nd and run until September 5th.
Take a look at the schedule of events for #ROMink below, and some images from the event.
Schedule of special events
On top of daily visits as of April 2nd, the Royal Ontario Musuem will also be holding the following special events during the #ROMink tenure.
The Art of Ink – Tuesday April 5th
Friday Night Live – Friday April 29th
Retracing The Lines Of Inuit Tattoos – Tuesday May 10th
Borneo: Explorations of Nature And Culture – Thursday May 26th

Give your baby some attitude with these bad-ass tattoo sleeve t-shirts for toddlers.
Tera, a mother of four from North Dakota, started selling these awesome tattoo shits with traditional tattoo designs, and tribal tattoo designs, after noticing the extremely generic market for kids’ clothing.
‘While the kids are always fun and adorable, something their clothes are boring and the same old thing over and over again. I simply wanted rockin’ clothes, and I could never find them. So I decided to make my own.’
If your baby needs some attitude, choose from designs such as the “Biker Tat Tee” or the “Rockabilly Tat Tee”. You can even customize some of the sleeves so certain tattoos are to your liking.
Starting at $25, these are a must have for kids with edge. Check out the amazing product shots below. Buy yours at TotTude today.
Move over Kim K, here comes Steve Butcher with this bad-ass James Harden tattoo that’s taking the internet by storm.
Butcher has long been one of our favorite realistic artists, and it should be no surprise when you see his stellar work. If you’re not already following the man, we suggest you get to it.
This image broke about 4 days ago when Butcher initially designed, and executed the marvellous piece of art.
Take a look below for videos, pictures, and the pre-design process of this awesome James Harden tattoo:

22 year old Los Angeles comedian Elijah Daniel has shocked and delighted the world with a tattoo of Donald Trump sucking on an erect penis.
Daniel reached out to his twitter fans and asked for 5,000 retweets, in exchange he would get the now infamous tattoo inked onto his leg. Daniel is the author of a Donald Trump gay erotica novel that blew up the internet earlier this year.

5,000 retweets later, Daniel obliged the request and fed the public’s need to see this one of a kind tattoo happen. He live streamed the event yesterday at 6:30 PM for everyone to see, and here is the glorious result.
It’s that time of the year again. The time when NFL fans make the biggest mistakes of their lives by tattooing hopeful Super Bowl logos onto their body.
Last week, we saw an atrocious Patriots commemorative championship tattoo, and this week we bring you this premature Arizona Cardinals Super Bowl 50 Tattoo.
The Cardinals have yet to make the big dance, and are going up against the #1 seeded Carolina Panthers. We definitely admire the team dedication, but aren’t too sure about the need for immediate gratification.
In any case, Go Cards!

The story also comes complete with this awesome meme that has been floating around the internet.
One does not simply mess up a Pats tattoo
When one gets a tattoo, they should usually do their research to make sure it’s accurate. One Pats fan is finding this out the hard way.
Remember to check your grammar next time, especially your apostrophe placement.

At the least he got the years correct.
In a tribute to her recently deceased pufferfish, Miley is adding to her tattoo collection with this latest from Dr.Woo at the Shamrock Social Club.
The first image of the tattoo popped up on Instagram with the caption: “R I P PBF @mileycyrus”.
This is the young stars 15th tattoo, not too shabby.

We guess it’s safe to say she enjoyed the show.
After her half time performance, Katy Perry decided to add to her collection of ink by tattooing the Superbowl 49 insignia on her inner ring finger.
Perry posted these two shots on her Instagram just after her performance, along with the caption ‘I thought it would be appropriate to draw blood tonight… XLIX.’

#15 – Even More Rihanna
Third time’s the charm: RIHANNA! A long Sanskrit prayer on her hip reads
“forgiveness, honesty, suppression and control”. Sounds like diet tips, doesn’t it? Too bad about the lost in translation spelling error. The tat actually means “long-suffering, truthfulness, self-restraint, inward calm, fear and fearlessness”. Perhaps this should be her mantra when adding – and removing – those etched errors…
